OMG Foster would be a crazzzzyyyyyy pickup. That would be huuuuuuuge. Read an article in November how he admitted that he wanted the Tech job and then Shane Beamer left for UGA. Maybe it's a possibiity? How many other schools are hiring def coordinators? Boston College filled their vacancy after Don Brown left of Michigan.

Well the last 5 regular seasons teams didnt make a bowl and offense wasnt that great. Playing soft in 4th qts of fl, ok, and ark games is what may have been the difference imo

I think everything shifted in the BAMA game. IMO. The Defense played their butts off and played Bama on D as well as anyone this year. Better than Ole Miss for sure.

I don't think anyone ever offered Chavis. I couldn't imagine someone growing up desiring to be Biden and not the #1 man in charge. But you might be right.

CJC gets a lot of hate from some in this thread. I remember "3rd and Chavis" happening, UCLA being the worst, but I also remember the defense being a failure if they didn't finish in the top 15 for total defense every year with Chavis. The expectations were higher then.
I would love to Chavis in orange again. Everyone who is anyone in college football respects the hell out of him for a reason. Just not Tennessee fans.
