David Sanders......AGAIN

I’m betting that Sanders comes back in a couple of weeks, the O line chemistry has been good the first 2 weeks and putting Sanders out now wouldn’t be smart. You risk disrupting the good chemistry, you risk reinjury, and starting a freshman for his first game against probably one of the best teams in the country might not be smart for him or the team.

I personally don’t expect McCoy will ever play this year, professional FB players are usually out an entire year with an ACL reconstruction. Why would you expect a college player to come back sooner? I think the bigger question is : WILL HE TAKE A REDSHIRT YR? whether that will improve a first team AA future draft prospect or hurt him might be up for debate and how well his knee is doing and rehab is doing. I would be surprised to actually see him play this year, maybe for the bowl game if there is one.

I don’t know anything about Gibson and what injury he has

This has gone from our staff being surprised he wasn't able to play in the opener, to him STILL sitting out 3 weeks later. WTH is going on??? Is our 5* stud that soft? Is it more serious then we were led to believe? I just see our team having a ton of injuries and it seems to happen ALL the time. It's frustrating.

Don't be a jerk towards our players. The only thing we know for sure is that our coach will never say anything useful or reliable about injuries.

One item that needs to be asked is how so many players are getting injured in the off-season? I can understand during the season but off season?

We were calling Lance Heard soft a year ago now he's the best OT in the SEC. Y'all needs to relax. It's a long season for a playoff team and he's 18. We've got OL depth and the starters are playing back. Why not let him get to 100%?

He's improved, but I wouldn't go that far yet.

Since you brought up injuries, anybody heard anything on Moi? Need him badly in rotation against GA run game.

Aren't you(the OP) the same guy who was crying about McCoy not playing through a torn ACL?

I bet you probably call in to work at your desk job after stubbing your toe in the morning. Usually the case when it comes to people such as yourself questioning the toughness of dudes who go out there and have to compete against some of the other biggest, fastest and strongest athletes in the world.

the initial diagnosis was a stinger and the feeling was it should resolve in a week or so. There are cases where it takes longer since the nerve has some damage. The nerve has to heal and then the muscles have to rehab back to full strength. In Sanders case, that is the issue, the nerve healing is taking much longer than anticipated.

It would be a high risk of further injury if he tried to play PLUS, he would likely be ineffective dto the weakness....
From someone who still occasionally has shoulder impingement issues due to multiple stingers in Hs and college I totally sympathize with him. I want him to play but only if he’s healthy

Time will tell. Not a great way to start for him. I’m sure he’s disappointed.
