This has gone from our staff being surprised he wasn't able to play in the opener, to him STILL sitting out 3 weeks later. WTH is going on??? Is our 5* stud that soft? Is it more serious then we were led to believe? I just see our team having a ton of injuries and it seems to happen ALL the time. It's frustrating.
We were calling Lance Heard soft a year ago now he's the best OT in the SEC. Y'all needs to relax. It's a long season for a playoff team and he's 18. We've got OL depth and the starters are playing back. Why not let him get to 100%?This has gone from our staff being surprised he wasn't able to play in the opener, to him STILL sitting out 3 weeks later. WTH is going on??? Is our 5* stud that soft? Since you brought up injuries, anybody heard anything on Moi? Need him badly in rotation against GA run game. This has gone from our staff being surprised he wasn't able to play in the opener, to him STILL sitting out 3 weeks later. WTH is going on??? From someone who still occasionally has shoulder impingement issues due to multiple stingers in Hs and college I totally sympathize with him. I want him to play but only if he’s healthythe initial diagnosis was a stinger and the feeling was it should resolve in a week or so. There are cases where it takes longer since the nerve has some damage. The nerve has to heal and then the muscles have to rehab back to full strength. In Sanders case, that is the issue, the nerve healing is taking much longer than anticipated.
It would be a high risk of further injury if he tried to play PLUS, he would likely be ineffective dto the weakness....
