i would go with (d) he didnt have a chance to bring his players in,you know boyd/giles/oku/williams ect ect
Richmond beat App St and made it to the semi's in Div II. Too bad he didn't stick around there, looks like they may win it all in Div II.
I don't know which amazes me more...that this thread which has as it's subject our 1 year OC that flopped has more than 10 posts, or the fact that a division 1a school who literally contended for the national title year in and out actually hired this guy.
Being as it doesn't cost me a damn thing, or the Division 1 school I holler for I don't give a dam if your right or wrong. I was against hiring him for 1 reason....you don't allow a man to learn to be a an offensive coordinator at this level on your dime. It dang sure cost us plenty for his learning curve, I hope he made the most of it.i'd be willing to put money on it that in two years he has them competing!! You are bias from just liking UT but i've seen what he did in Richmond and i personally know that all of the offensive woes this season don't fall squarely on his shoulders... Hes a lot better coach than your writing him off to be.. So you'll be in for a surprise when he begins to be very successful within a few years

Fulmer.. Cutcliffe..Sanders all learned on our dime...Being as it doesn't cost me a damn thing, or the Division 1 school I holler for I don't give a dam if your right or wrong.
