We're so deep at DE, who would notice?
Someone should have thought of that before kicking a teammate in the face and causing the need for medical treatment. Apparently, this went beyond just a practice field scuffle of pushing, shoving and punching.
You guys that seem to be willing to disregard basic principles and standards for the sake of winning are quite concerning.
Wrong, our University may lay claim to that Coaching Title. Florida is terrible, but; we couldn't beat them.... Orgeron is the worst HC in the SEC, bar none. They beat Florida because Florida is a terrible team. Without incredible luck and a lot of help from the officials, they'd be 1-4 right now (they actually beat Vandy) and Butch would be cruising despite the UGA loss.
Did you even watch the game? he did not try to fight he never swung at the guy. Even the commentators were saying it was a bad call. That being said, if he purposely kicked a teammate in the face that's foul, but this is football altercations in practice happen all the time and crap like this is not rare on any team. It just never makes headlines normally. To be fair he did try to fight UGA and got ejected. So maybe he thought keeping it in house was a better idea.
I think its a case that unless u were there we have no right to comment. but the fact he was suspended means it at least has enough legs under it to warrant a suspension of your most productive DL for a make or break game. taylor is a beast, the question is he too much beast? There's a big difference between being an aggressive player and intentionally kicking your teammate in the face with cleats.
While I'm all for firing Butch, I have to agree with his decision.
If it was one of the opposing team's players that did that to one of our players, most of us would be pissed too.
Clearly uncalled for on Taylor's part.
