Glad to see that we have some VN'ers on here with some common sense. I PREFER the orange and white too, but It's the players who go out and sweat through practices, shoulder class loads of studying, put up with fans whining, and may or probably not make it as pros. So, I shut up and hope there's pride in those jerseys, whatever color our boys wear in games. You don't have to stop doing fun things because you lost a game.
We lost three of the first four Checker Neyland games and it's still a great tradition.
I don’t think they were either but we aren’t elite and when you show up with all of that hype and consistently lay eggs, it’s not worth it.I don't think the uniforms were the problem last night.
That was a failure on multiple levels of coaching and involving every phase of the game.
I haven't been that pissed leaving Neyland in several years.
Don’t worry. Once we go back to Adidas we will be back to ugly alternative jerseys.Time to stop with the gimmicks. These players need to learn the value of putting on that orange jersey. Yeah I know players like it but Alabama players are apparently seeing the importance of wearing those crimson jerseys.
No offense, but the only color most of the players perform for is green. Sorry to sound so jaded, but....Time to stop with the gimmicks. These players need to learn the value of putting on that orange jersey. Yeah I know players like it but Alabama players are apparently seeing the importance of wearing those crimson jerseys.
It's not "random gang signs", they are spelling VOL with their fingers. Even the soccer moms in my section do it.The endzone dance ******** can stop. The random gang sign flashing after every first down can stop.
And so can whining about the jerseys and the helrmet colors.Thats an old fogey take. We wear the current traditional jerseys for our main rivals. Black on or about Halloween and Smoke Grey mixed somewhere in there. Two games out of 12 isn't that bad.
