Da'rick Rogers

Now you've went and hurt my feelings.
Let me see.

Another one that has had his feelings hurt. So, he uses a decision DR made (DR is the guy he has his feelings hurt about because I don't think he is the greatest ever) as an attempt at insulting me. Pure brilliance in defending the guy you have had your feelings hurt over.

You do realize "right" really isn't harder to spell than "rite", right? Or shortening it from 5 letters to 4 is a critical step in the hectic pace known as your life?

might have already been posted but i cant find it, when was Rodgers finger hurt? i know its almost healed already but would like to know how it happened.

Maybe before the tucky game..... I hope after how he played that game.

Colston played receiver in college. Some though he may switch to tight end in the NFL because he is 6'5 and 230 lbs but obviously that didn't happen. Both him playing at a division I-AA school and his future position being unclear contributed to him being taken so late. Which is why where he was selected has no bearing on where Rogers will be.

I was just pointing out that he began his NFL career as a tight end and was drafted to play tight end. I agree that it has no bearing on Da'Rick's draft status.

Da'Rick is a special talent. He is the best overall WR on the roster, arguably the best WR we have had in Knoxville in 20+ years. I understand a lot of you necks dont like his attitude, and a lot of blue hairs are really against his flashy antics but it is what it is. You can not argue his productivity, he was statistically the best WR in the SEC in 2011. If you dont want him at UT then your feeling is based on more than just winning football games. You folk shouldnt have so much anger and judgment towards a 20 yr old student athlete. Da'Rick is 6'3 220 and is a physical monster...he will definitely flirt with the NFL as he is the only player on the roster that can physically handle the NFL right now. I really wish you wouldnt hold a grudge against Da'Rick because of some rumors that had no credibility. DR21 loves UT and wants to be apart of the program. Itd be best for some of you to not talk about Da'Rick because its obviously a sore spot and we shouldnt be negative toward any Vol.

Probably not but he's an exceptional talent

Best WR @ UT in 20 + years?? Are you 4 years old??

I'd say we need to see him play a full year on a decent team with steady QB play. But if last year was any indication, it might not be that much of a stretch.

He's as far along as Pickens, Price, Stallworth were at this point in their careers.

Price and Stallworth yes, Pickens no.

Technically, now that I think about it, I believe Pickens left after 91, so that would have been over 20 years ago.

I've long felt that some of the ugliness we see here directed towards certain "categories" of players is an indication of what lies just beneath the epidermis of mainstream America. I wouldn't ever argue with the preference for seeing our players and our youth in general behaving in much more dignified ways than they do but the eagerness to condemn certain players bespeaks a great deal about the character of their accusers in my view.
