I will say the press conference was maybe a turning point for me. I have wanted to try to stay optimistic and give her a shot to turn things around, given how much I (mostly) enjoyed last season, but that was really rough.

I’d keep Kim and let the twins go and Prawl. Don’t like the daddy thing. Really thing some assistants are not good. Lazo, and couple more can recruit but that’s it.

Danny White hired Jan 21,2021

Danny White structured Kellie Harper contact extension in may 2023 to include a 50% reduction in her buyout.
Which took effect on April 1, 2024 terms saving Tennessee over 1 million paying 2.2 instead of 3.3 million dollars.

High profile coaches still have 100% payouts on there women's basketball contacts.

There starting to appear some in women's contacts.
The 50% buyouts isn't in all women's contracts.

Tennessee being one of the schools who went court over NCAA and NIL deals.

And Danny White failed to get get Kellie Harper support
Some blame big boosters. Wanted Kellie Harper gone.

Top women's basketball colleges would question.
Would NIL support would it be there during there time at the University of Tennessee.

Since Tennessee NIL Volunteers club has lot smaller donors who probably didn't specifically say which sport to give funds to for NIL deals and Danny White didn't use them to help Kellie Harper close on players like Texas Booker.

A coach would be at the mercy of the big donors and 5% revenue sharing . But that to could be redirect by the AD

And that 50% buyout
Tennessee could be a reason some say there was coaches who told Danny White they weren't interested.

That 50% buyout doesn't bother me in the least . These coaches make plenty of money doing something they love. Now when there doing a bad job and get fired that's on them . And why should a university pay them to no longer work ? There also eligible to go to work anywhere else that wants there service. It's like companies firing a CEO and giving them a bonus of 5-10 million because they haven't performed to expectations. As for the NIL or revenue sharing DW controls the revenue sharing and they received as much as most anyone. NIL well he can help but he's not going around to all the different sports and determine what each player receives and not going to tell each donor where he's spending there money. The donors will decide who they want to pay and how much. Now he might suggest but don't think that's his priority he's there to keep the whole athletic program running all the facilities and needs he doesn't have a hand in every individual.

90 percent of funds go directly to student athletes.

Those funds that fund 11 sports primary just glanced few lines of a article.
Those was funds I was saying Danny White could help with.

Newer said where private big donors should put there money .

Al browser didn't specifically name Tennessee as the first to start it but it sites Tennessee using it when asked.

Far as the buyout option like to see it more in football and men's basketball

Think Rick has lifetime guarantee buyout option not reduce it been awhile sense I looked.

And don't have problem with men's basketball contact he earn it

She gave them all double the minutes she gave Civil, even though Civil had been playing better.

Rick Barnes signed lifetime deal automatic 3 year extension structure 6 million annually.

And little bit more about Kellie Harper contact was supposed
To make good faith effort to seek a coaching job equal or close to Tennessee coaching job.

Big time coaches rarely leave the teams they are at. Of the top ten women’s teams, only two of them had proven success at the power 4 conference level. Vic and Kim.

I think there are likely several candidates that would be interested in coaching at TN. Somewhere between the very few multi-title coaches and one with no major program experience. I simply don’t buy the thought that the only candidates DW can turn to are ones that are 100% learning on the job.

Clemson has a coach better than ours. Not a lot of talent on that team yet they took USC to the wire. Actually should've won foul was easily before time run out and the shot should not even have been a shot foul had already been committed.

He’s been successful in his short tenure as a head coach at both UT Chattanooga and Clemson.

Michigan starters came off the floor and they all get a hug and celebration from the coach. Don’t see that on our sideline anymore 😕 I mean they posted a video of Boyd trying to hug CKC in excitement after one game, and CKC was trying to push her off

You are either going to be elite or you are not. I want a coach that becomes elite no matter where they come from.
