I can tell who the millenials are in hereRegardless of your opinion on weed, the fact is that all players agree to abstain as a condition to being on the team. They know the rules. Not only that, but it can make you much less reactive and productive on the field. Why risk it? You hurt yourself and your team. I hate it for him, but he made his choices. *Assuming of course this is the reason he was dismissed.
Hipaa applies to everyone but the military. Hipaa doesn't cover drug tests as a matter of employment or playing sports. Ergo urine vs blood at hospital.
This thread is about pissing away an opportunity. I hope he does well but don't make this out to be a pity party for DOB. I don't feel sorry for him in the least. He is going to make his $$. He is just being a poor team mate by not avoiding pot for 7 more weeks.

Not by a hospital. They have nothing to do with team/ SEC/ NCAA policy. If they test you, it must be for a medical reason (unexplained mental status changes, etc) or at the formal request of law enforcement.
