This is not a new issue. We signed the guy months ago and are just now getting the hammer. It's just lame on the part of the NCAA, because with some decent timing, Pearl could have addressed the problem.

Entire season, he is most likely to transfer to a junior college

If we make it to the Sweet 16 this year again... well kudos to Bruce because he's done his job. If we had a solid back up for Maze this year could have been an Elite 8 or better year...

Let's just pray all JP did during the summer was work on his ball handling...

We have no idea how good West would have been this year. At least Maze is eligible. Bruce will have to figure out how to best utilize Tabb and Prince when Maze is on the bench. I agree that the timing reeks.
