I remember there being some hype around Lincoln, too.Palardy is unreal. If he doesn't end his career as one of the best kickers/punters in UT history...I'll be shocked. Heck, he may do both. He's an upgrade...no doubt. I still can't agree with all the hate for Lincoln. We're talking about all the wrong things right now...
Memo to those who feel compelled to defend Liability. err, I mean Lincoln. It is the kickers job to get the ball up. When a kick is on a flat plane, fat piles of crap like "Mt. Cody" become folk hereos.Posted via VolNation Mobile
With the exception of a couple of inopportune penalties, I thought it was a solid effort. If we avoid a letdown and take care of business next Saturday, we'll steamroll the three tomato cans and the Ole Miss game will decide if we finish 8-4 or 7-5.So whose fault is it that we were left an average kicker and an aneimic offensive line?
I just think we're pointing the finger in the wrong direction, thats all.
How did you feel about the overall play of the team today and where do you think we're headed from here on out?

No, it isn't. Lincoln sucks. He's missed long kicks, short kicks, extra points. There's no assurance he would have made the kick minus the penalty. Why don't you stick to kissing Fulmer's fat arse and balimng Dave Clawson for everything but the swine flu? At least that is amusing. Any defense of Lincoln at this point in his career is just idiocy.it's a fact not an excuse...
Obviously not.

You agree that he kicks on, your words not mine, a low trajectory. Yet, you do not see fault in that argument? The place kicker MUST develop evalation when he/she kicks the football. Get a clue. bro.Tell that fat piece of crap that next April.
He does deliver low trajectory kicks...no denying that. BUT how can crucify him when he doesn't have the oppurtunity to get one off?

He said Lincoln hasn't regained his leg strength since a quadriceps injury.
''He can't kick the ball up high,'' Kiffin said. ''If you kick the ball up high it's never going to get there, so we can't allow the penetration up front.''
