I'll keep on saying it if your interested in Mullen because he won with less talent.

And he is awful vs top 25 teams what is he now 3-26 bs top 25😵

Go with Schanio he WON at RUTGERS with RUTGERS talent vs the top 25

You put Schanio at Miss st and he would have a WAY better record than Mullen has had there.

Not getting the Mullen love..He's done ok at MSU but has never done anything special..We know Gruden is not coming...He's not.,.Fun to dream about it but he's not coming...Time to be realistic and open up that pocket book and sign Chip Kelly as a our new head coach...No buyout and a dynamic offense...He's the guy..Do not let Florida get this guy!..They will beat us for years to come if they get him no matter who we hire!

Nope. Like I said in another thread, Mullen is a pretty good 8-4 type coach but a very unexciting hire in my opinion. Mullen gets you 7-9 wins, runs a clean program, and develops quarterbacks. Thats about it. I just can't see him ever winning a Championship or anything significant.

Mullen would have been a good hire back in 2012, but not at the present time. I think he coaches another 6-10 years in starkville and hangs his hat up there.

You people are nuts. Dan Mullen would be an unbelievable hire and we would be damn lucky to have him. The amount of Gruden worship with this fan base is sad. It isn't going to happen. He's not coming to coach the Vols. Full stop.

Dan Mullen has consistently won in the toughest division in football, and with inferior talent, budget, and facilities. He is an offensive genius, has a proven track record of developing his talent, and was largely behind UFs 2 National Championships.

Quit being so asinine and realize that Gruden isn't coming and PRAY we can pull Mullen from MSU.

He had them ranked number 1 for several weeks..... when was the last time that happened at UT?

He is by far the lowest risk, high reward coach available. I think I like Fuente and Campbell better but Mullen is lower risk.

If he had a knock, it is that he isn't the best recruiter but he was recruiting for Starkville, MS slum and didn't have Tennessee's facilities, location or recruiting budget which is usually one of the 3 highest nationally.

Dude almost beat Alabama with low-mid range 3* recruits.

Mullen is a great QB developer and rarely does he make bonehead coaching decisions.

Hubbs saying got message it's a done deal on Gruden.

8-4 in SEC West with MissST location, facilities, recruiting, SECWest schedule, etc translates into 10-2 or 11-1 in SEC East.
