I think they're completely different shows. Stewart is biased to the left. Colbert is biased to the right, proving that Comedy Central is "fair and balanced."
I don't find her funny or anything special looks-wise either.
I think Daniel Tosh summed it up perfectly when he said she was an average looking chick that played a videogame once and got a career out of it.
I think there is a little bit of a difference between the two...you can tell by the interviews. Stewart asks hard-hitting questions sometimes and Colbert basically just makes fun of the guest. I'd say Stewart's is slightly more of a news show but Colbert is definitely funnier. For me it goes:
I was watching Colbert a few days ago at my grandparents' house. My grandfather came in and sat down and watched a few minutes before turning to me and saying "This guy's an idiot." I told him it was a comedy show on Comedy Central and that it was more of a satire of news shows than actual news. He responded with "still an idiot." I honestly had no other way of telling him that he wasn't watching a serious news show.
