Dabo not happy again

I’d imagine, if somebody were to dig a little bit, they would find that he and his crew are guilty of similar behavior.
He’s just ill because they went from a preseason Top 5 to losing in the legendary Pinstripe Bowl to an interim coach, having to settle for Chad Morris, having to eat crow with the portal, and because his seat is progressively warming. Their President is involved with some shenanigans and abruptly resigned and the University is in financial mess outside of the Athletic Dept, so he’s under more pressure to fill the seats.

Every school has dirty laundry. Kiffin sent his army of co-ed “hostesses” to high schools across the South to “entice” recruits while at UT. That was sleazy as can be. Yes, Dabo is a chronic whiner. But in this case, Dabo exposing this about Golding is absolutely correct and necessary. Golding obviously no different than Kiffin when it comes to skeazy tactics.

Slime or no slime, it's working for him. NIL/Portal hasn't got guardrails for this. Complain if you must. The cream rises to the top, but as Hunter S. Thompson once said "The scum also rises". (Maybe thats twisting a Hemingway title a bit.)

May seem like he’s whiny and may even come across that way but he makes a strong point. I don’t like his style but his moral compass is intact. This is rotten and if the ncaa won’t step up to make and enforce rules then they may as well cease to exist. Does not excuse Pete Golding’s behavior. Better coaches have gotten a show cause for less. If it’s true he deserves a fitting punishment….and Lane too of course

Never forget, Dabo is at the center a crimson tide alum under Bryant. He learned from the best two things; how to cheat better than the others and how to whine louder when someone else does it.For that reason alone, I am glad when he loses.
Dabo can call them out because he is not guilty.

Dabo aside, I really don’t see the “morality “ in this. WE created this system when WE decided to let the players get paid. All that is occurring at this time is an unfettered free market economy. Caveat emptor.

Having said that, none of this is anything I believe is particularly of good morality.

I don’t think so. Clemson hasn’t been a very active portal team. Dabo laid out the case pretty clear and if what he said was true, he’s 100% right.

He played for Curry and Stallings.
Correct. But if you think that changes the system at UA I would refer you to Paul Bryant Jr. and Leroy Jordan. Steve Sloan and Bill Curry were the victims of that change. If you doubt that, refer to the NCAA sanctions levied against them. The NCAA officials considered the so-called death penalty to be levied. Only the actions of the faculty-AD liaison’ s cooperation with the investigation saved them.
