Awesome pitching again. Latos/Chappy bringing it. Bats were barely whispering, but BP did it again.

I really like how meso is playing lately. Tried to stretch one early in the game, but he has been playing very well since hannigan last went on the dl. Latos really likes throwing to him also.

One of the few games I've gotten to see this season. I yelled "what are you doing?!?" when he rounded first.

Looks like the Cubs are trying to do what the Reds are doing by converting a SS to CF with Junior Lake. He played for the Smokies. Was OK on D as a SS and really erratic at the plate. I guess when you are out of the playoff race by the end of May you can experiment with guys like him. I see Hamilton being a much better prospect for CF though.

TF is turning into a very solid guy with the glove at third. Needs to go to work on his hitting in the off season. His bat speed and hands are fine. He needs work on his stance and step into the pitch. It turns into a lunge a lot of the time, which is Cozart's issue.

His stance matters none. His pitch recognition is flat out awful.

This thread is much more active when the reds are losing. Looks like you guys are going to move into second in the Nl Central and first in the wild card tonight
