Da Reds thread

I swear they were winning when I posted that.

How's it feel to be living in mediocrity like we are? Maybe we can combine teams and be the RedRedbirds, surely between our teams we can muster a decent pitching staff.

Hope the Reds have something, the Cards couldn't offer any pitching help at the moment.

and yes scott hatteberg is supposed to hit leadoff tonight.

The Reds were looking to find a closer but then the Nats tried to screw the Reds one more time.
Reds interest in a closer led them to talks with the Nationals about Chad Cordero. Conversation began and ended with Washington's demand for Homer Bailey.

Our whole entire bullpen needs fired. I hate how we are so high strung on Coffey. That guy is total freaking garbage. As is Weathers. As is the rest of them except Guardado.

I can't stand losing games simply because of the blowpen. They are the ONLY reason our record is horrible. They blow WAY too many games.

On the faint, but still bright side, Hamilton is the man.

Per Mlb Trade Rumors.com: From the L.A. side, Mike DiGiovanna adds several players on the Halos' radar: Kevin Mench, Jacque Jones, Pat Burrell, Emil Brown, Morgan Ensberg, and Edwin Encarnacion. DiGiovanna agrees that Santana is the top trading chip. Santana could really blossom in the National League.
Edwin for Ervin Santana??? IDK about that. He is a flyball pitcher with a great young arm, but the reds already have way to many fly ball pitchers in a Batter Friendly Park. Getting traded to the reds could be the worst thing that could happen to this guy.
