Da Reds thread

I have lost faith in Krivsky. Jerry Narron should have been fired LONG before Edwin went to AAA. Not only do we need a new manager (Let's bring Bobby Valentine back to the states) but a new general manager as well.

Id be willing to bet that one of Griffey or Dunn (or maybe both) will be traded for some really good prospects. Some team might want a veteran on their team for the playoff stretch and take conine. I have the feeling Votto will be called up before the end of june and Bailey could be up anywhere from this Sunday (miltons start) end of July and Bruce will probably be here at the begining of 2008. The reds are done for the next two years.

A common misconception is that Milton isn't pitching well this year. I am not saying he is worth the money we are paying him, but he has been a solid starter late in the rotation, he is just not getting run support. The rotation is looking good enough right now that Bailey will be in the minors for awhile. I agree on Votto, we should just dump Conine now and get Votto some ABs against big league pitching. If we do unload anyone, we need to seriously look into some relief pitchers, because honestly, if we had any kind of bullpen right now, we would at least be set up to challenge the Brew Crew for the division.

sorry, didn't realize milton was DLing it, I agree with Livingston being the next callup.

Edit: Make that strike two, because Jared Burton has already been called up to take Milton's roster spot.

strike three: milton's run support is actually not awful, he just can't pitch more than 3 innings of good ball in a game.

Burtons a releiver tho and it has been announced that Livingston will be called up and get the start.

reds bullpen stats
record: 4-8
average WHIP for releivers: 1.42
ERA: 5.12
Walks: 39
Note: I left Jared Burton out of all stats because he has only pitched in 1 game and he had a WHIP of 9, 3 walks and an ERA of 0. How he did that I have no idea, But with his WHIP averaged in it would have been over 2.2 for the year.
