does anybody know if billy hamilton could play CF or third base. if so he should be up we could use the bat and we could send rolen or stubbs packing. they are no better than AA players anyway. rolen maybe a A ball player at best he is horrific.

He has the skill set to play CF and really should be there.

the reds have no leadoff hitter and rolen batting sub 200 and stubbs just over. yes the reds could use the bat if he could make contact, because half the reds can't. it is either that or start looking for trades. unless they make a move they won't catch the pirates.

you maybe right, but it couldn't hurt to give him a try. with rolen and stubbs in the line up it is 0-8 with 4 k's. they need to let rolen go and trade stubbs. cincy's pitching has been very good. you take away votto and there hitting is horrible at best.

either position if he can bunt and get a single a game he is better than stubbs or rolen. it's not hard to beat .178 as long as he doesn't screw up to bad wherever he plays.

they need a trade or they won't catch the pirates. look for pittsburgh to go out and get a big bat and win the division. for some reason jocketty just doesn't make the right moves.

Have y'all heard anything about Rolen's vision? Around Stl the talk is that his vision is a major reason for his batting slump. Could just be talk but curious if any talk in Cincy on that. He is one of the better 3rd basemen of our generation and a true gamer.

reds might as well be sellers and bring in some good prospects. this team is going in the crapper. dusty and jocketty need to go. either jocketty got lucky in st.louis or he surrounded himself with great people, because he sucks in cincy.

The team is in first place in mid-July and one bat away from being fairly Dusty proof. I agree on Jock and Dusty, but there is no way this team should be a seller right now.

Actually, if you ask me, Rolen should be almost exclusively a bench guy at this point. Lose some defense, but gain a lot of offense
