I wouldn't be for trading Grandal unless it was part of a trade for a serious big bat to play left.

Left field is a much, much bigger mess than the starting pitching. It's the same bunch who won the division last year. If everyone is healthy, they're fine.

I would be open to shipping him for Kemp, if we could keep him in Cincy. Don't think there is much else I would go for

I watched Grandal when the Mudcats were in town. I would have real questions about if he's mobile enough to play the outfield.

He looked really good defensively. Hard to assess his offense, because the lineup around him is terrible. He did mash the pitch he got hit.

Don't get too worried, yet. I have a feeling the Reds are about to do something. Also, the Brewers defense is still absolute garbage.

I'd be open to trading Grandal as I think he has more valuable as a trade chip than actual player for the Reds. I'm all in on the Mesoraco bandwagon.

jocketty has already shown he got lucky in st.louis. keeping dusty around was one of the worst moves in history. the reds will never win the series with baker as coach, you can take that to the bank. reds won't do much after getting swept this upcoming weekend against the cardinals in which coco will blow all three games. gotta be a better coach out there somewhere.

I have to agree. If mesoraco pans out to be a stud in the bigs and grandal is the same in a few years, I like to have some rock solid catching depth. I hope it won't take grandal years to become ready for the bigs. Those two alone could be light years ahead of the duo we have behind the plate now. All speculation at this point, but Alonso seems to be road blocked for several more years. Say trade him while we can get the most. But with all that said I have to believe that mesoraco is in the untouchable category right now.

i was really waiting on ole shingles to ask to see if bp touched all the bags. i would have been really upset if our pen had blown this one. i also really hope that pujols goes to a club outside of the central and outside of the nl. i have had all that i can handle of that guy.
