Custom Tailored Suit

Here is my suit story. Used to be a high end mens store on the other side town. Told the wife one random Saturday morning, Im going to buy a suit from there one day. That afternoon we decided we wanted smoothies from this little place that happened to be down the street from the mens store. On a whim I went in and they were going out of business in 3 days. Everything was 70% off. Bought a $600 suit for 180. Went back the next day and everything was 80% off. Got another $800 suit for $160. They are both awesome.

For the price, it's not that bad.

If anything its actually worse because now you will be stuck with 3 awful suits. Plus you have to realize just how cheap they are, not cheap as in inexpensive, just cheap.

They still have to make money and those suits can't cost them more than $100 by the time they make it into the store.

For people that don't wear suits very often and therefore don't want to spend much, then it's not that bad

For what it is, there's nothing wrong w mens wearhouse. I bought 3 haspel poplin suits that did me just fine.

If you don't wear them that often, then you don't need 3. Just buy one decent one and be done with it.

It can and it is.

Actually, if they are as poor quality as you purport, then having three will help extend the lives of the suit because you spread the wear out.

To be honest, you really need to know what you're looking for quality wise, stitching, construction, etc. I've spent a decent amount of money on some Samuelson sport coats and they ended up wearing terribly. I've also had custom-made shirts that didn't launder properly

Thats interesting about Samuelsohn. Was it the fabric or the construction?

Issimo is the brand I got at Men's Wearhouse. Ever heard of them?
