Not sure what your saying exactly. If your saying to buy in a recession to get rich. Yeah that might work if you can hold on until the recession ends. You can't keep buying on the way down and make money until it actually starts going back up.
Seems in every thread people are asking, well how many spots, but do we have room, what about so & so. Figured it would be helpful to have a current roster breakdown as of 5/13/2014 at 3:53pm. YOU ARE ALLOWED 13 SCHOLARSHIP PLAYERS ON YOUR ROSTER...
Current Scholarship Players:
Josh Richardson-SR 6'6" 196lbs
Ian Chiles- SR 6'1" 200lbs
Eric McKnight- SR 6'9" 210lbs
Pops Ndiaye-SR 6'10" 275lbs
Armani Moore-JR 6'5" 215lbs
Kevin Punter-JR 6'4" 170lbs
Devon Baulkman- JR 6'5" 200lbs
Derek Reese-JR 6'8" 220lbs
Robert Hubbs-SO 6'6" 206lbs
Detrick Mostella- FR 6'3" 170lbs
Jabari McGhee-FR 6'8" 225lbs
Willie Carmichael- FR 6'7" 195lbs
Remaining Targets:
Tariq Owens- FR 6'10" 205lbs
Darius Thompson- SO 6'5" 181lbs
Robert Carter (TRANSFER)- JR 6'8" 245lbs
Yes, I agree. He needs to hit the weights more if he is going to play at a 5 spot. He rebounds nice when he really wants it, but also is pushed and bullied out of position too often.
Returning Players
Josh Richardson- really good defender, showed a lot of promise during the NCAA, improves every year, best player on the team currently
Armani Moore- undervalued player IMO
Derek Reese-role player
Robert Hubbs- superstar talent. Hope he has a breakout year
Juco signees
Kevin Punter-juco sg that should provide some scoring
Devon Baulkman- not sure how much of an impact he will have. Have to wait and see.
Graduate Transfers
Ian Chiles- Nice addition at a position of need
Eric McKnight- Much needed experience in the post
FRESHMEN
Detrick Mostella- Biggest concern is can he get qualified. I have my doubts.
Jabari McGhee- Unheralded Freshman
Willie Carmichael- Unheralded Freshman
Tariq Owens- Unheralded Freshman
Looking at this roster, I think there's a lot to like but I don't see this as a tournament team. If Tyndall takes them to the NCAAT, he's really done a nice job.
My biggest concerns are....
1. Mostella getting cleared is going to be huge. I have serious doubts he will be cleared. Even then, he's a top 50 player, not a McD's AA. His dunk contest video I think has fans a little over optimistic about his contribution this fall.
2. We don't have much talent in the post
3. If we have to rely a lot on the 3 frosh other than Mostella, we will be hurting IMO
4. Hubbs has to have a breakout season.
5. Lack of true point guard
Also, I think Owens and Mostella (if cleared) could be the first true building blocks of Tyndall's era over the next couple of years.
Our fans are getting a little over excited about this class IMO. What Tyndall has done over this short period of time, with a limited pool of candidates has been really impressive. However, that doesn't mean that this class is equally impressive.
Will be interesting to see if the Tyndall FLIP can translate to the SEC.Returning Players

Could not agree more.
Given the timing and amount of open scholarships he did a nice job of at least filling it with D1 level players IMO.
However the class is still rated in the 40's and is middle of the pack talent level in the poor SEC.
It's impressive in the sense of how much time he had to work with, but this isn't the type of class that you hope for going forward IMO.
If Mostella is forced to go the Juco route, think we'll pull in another Juco SG?Could not agree more.

Going forward do you see him sticking with prep school and juco players, or is that just for this class?
