These whiny ass fans who signed that petition and complain incessantly about a coach who took us to a Sweet 16 may just get what they deserve . He may just leave and then we will hire a nobody to replace him

Valid argument if both of those teams aren't the only conference powerhouses with multiple championships. Kentucky took a L in the NIT as well (not comparing the two because that's not fair but it means nothing unless our program consistently finishes above them)

Newsflash: No other program will never consistently finish ahead of Kentucky or Florida so long as Eddie Munster and Calimari are coaching. They are at the top of their profession and aren't slowing down a bit.

He beat several over his three years. UK, UF, WSU last year when they went to the FF. UVA this year, Iowa and UMASS were ranked at some point.

UVA, Iowa, and UMASS weren't ranked when he beat them this year. UF last year, sure. They were a good team. As was WSU. But UK, last year, they were a terrible team. In his three years at UT, he is 6-13 against teams ranked inside the top 25 when we played them. This year our Vols didn't beat any teams that were ranked when we played them.

Hart will most certainly hire a nobody head coach to replace Zo. Be looking on Craigslist and the want ads of the Knoxville News Sentinel. I for one will be checking telephone poles with the little phone #'s written on them that you can tear off. Usually posted with the handy man for hire, painter for hire, cleaning lady for hire, babysitter for hire, and lawn mower for hire ads.

I still don't think he coached well the last 3 weeks. The good players overcame the slaw coaching staff!

Nice! I haven't heard anyone use "slaw" in a long time when explaining something terrible. Takin' it old school.

Yeah, that makes perfect sense considering one of those programs we finished ahead is joining the SEC Champion in this year's Final Four.

Yeah, that makes perfect sense bragging about finishing ahead of a team 3 years ago based on this years results.

Well, let's see:

Year 1: Took a team with very little talent that was predicted to finish next to last in the SEC and finished 2nd.

Year 2: Admittedly, an average season. His worst here.

Year 3: Sweet 16 birth. One block/charge call away from Elite 8 appearance.

Seems like swell job to me.

Ditto!

So what you are saying is that it took Martin 3 seasons and then into the post season to figure out how to win?

Bwahahahahaha! How many years do you think it took most HOF coaches, for example, to fully develop as HCs? Good grief.

Lol that was my point. Maybe I misunderstood your post but you pointed out that we did finish above one of those programs. Just saying its not a big deal unless its consistent.

:good!:
Picked to finish last his first season yet finished third. Lost Maymon his second and reached 20 wins. His third makes a run and reaches the sixteen. Now schools want him because they see the progression and growth of his teams. Sounds to me like the only ones mental are you and that 37,000 taking credit for victory.

:good!::good!:

I felt the same way about Derek Dooley. He too was only in his 6th year as a HC. And he almost beat a great LSU team and almost won a bowl game...

Man, you guys are sad. You really think 17-20 is a decent analogy to 61-41, including 26-9 his final season at MS? Stupid.

Dooley was a pompous, self absorbed fella who couldn't engender loyalty amongst his players. CCM is no CDD
