Culinary, Arts, Thread.

Think I'm gonna shave my head.

Seriously. Been thinking about it for a couple of weeks and just not brave enough to pull the trigger. But its so friggin hot and I keep it short anyway. Girl cuts the top and front really short and uses a number 2 guard on the trimmers on the sides and back.

I'm really wanting a cigarette and I'm about to bust from eating. I got to do something. If I shave it today, it'll need a regular cut by the time we play WV. It goes really fast during the summer.
Do It!

I let mine grow out along with the beard a couple time a year. The rest of the time, I keep my head buzzed and a Don Johnson beard.

After I've worn my hair long (what HBPW calls long. She has no since of measurement, thank the lawd:)) for a while and then Buzz it, I have a couple hours of anonymity at work. It's a good thang!

H !!

Hell yea, you can me anything you want. Some new kid in the FF called me a Smartass and a Drama Queen. Wtf? I mean, I totally get the smartass part, but drama queen? Lulz.

How you today? Are you Eating?

Be glad when I get home, hospital food ain’t very good. During my sickness and subsequent hospitalization I have gone from 185 lbs to 150. Maybe for my weight regain rehab I could come down there and let you feed me back to health. :)

You knew this was coming:) Photo of a shaved Behr.

You probably make your own bbq sauce, but what store sauce do you recommend ? Or something online if not a store

I like Bullseye.

They used to make a Hickory flavor, but I haven't seen it in a while. I get the Original and do stuff to it. Its good straight out of the bottle too.

Ill give it try - going to a new import food market Saturday and also a grocery store that carries alot of brands

Shortest version..

I got addicted to it. Was going to school waiting tables and bartending for O'Charley's. Closing shifts were the best money so I closed every night. I was a good worker and closer and they offered me a management position. I was the first male dining room manager for O'Charley's. Lulz.

Anyway, I got into it, quit school, made family upset, obviously, and moved up pretty quick and they paid very well. It was a bunch of hours, but it was awesome. Women errywhere, drugs and I ate and drank free most always. At 23 it was heaven. This was in the early to mid 80's and I was having a blast.

I settled down a little, stopped the drugs and got married, then got serious about it. I found out early it was in my blood.

Anthony Bourdain wrote a book called Kitchen Confidential years ago, some of the stories I could have written. Its the best book about the lives of real restaurant people available.

There was a TV series on cable several years ago (2005) with the same title that was inspired/based on the book. Bradley Cooper plays Jack Bourdain which is a character inspired by Anthony. Anyway, it aired one episode and the World Series started and it never returned. I don't know why one had to do with the other, but that's what happened.

I was so disappointed because the first episode was awesome. About two years later I was at best buy and there it was!!

I think there were 12 or 13 episodes total, but I highly recommend it if you can find it somewhere.

You can watch it and see many scenes of my life in a restaurant.

Its a fun watch period.

It has some other people you might not know by name, but will recognize. Very well acted by all.

No doubt my favorite "food/restaurant" movie/show.
