Gruden..NOT coming here
Meyer...NOT coming here
Cower...NOT coming here
Carroll...NOT coming here
Dungy...NOT coming here
Tressell...NOT coming here
Saban/Miles/Stoops...NOT coming here

Tressell would probably come here, but I doubt UT would go for him because of the recent NCAA troubles. I would go for Gary Patterson. If we ever want to get a big time proven coach we are going to have shell out some serious cash like OSU. OSU is about to pay Urban 7 million a year, but UT acts like a 2nd tier football program and keeps hiring unproven coaches. For over 5 million plus a lot of qualified coaches would listen.

But he played QB here and loves UT, if that doesnt say "book it hes the coach" I dont know what does
On a half serious note, I honestly...if I were in CDD's shoes, and wanted to score some MAJOR brownie points with the AD and fans, I would get Peyton on the phone and let him know that IF, IF, IF...he suddenly decided that it was best to hang up his cleats (for strictly health reasons), that he would have an OC position for him if he was interested.

If there is one person in the NFL who is ready to step into such a coaching role, it would be him. His staff already treats him like a Co-Offensive Coordinator. And no one understands the game better. So, please don't even start with the "no coaching experience" bit.

And yes, he could make more in a broadcasting booth, but I think he has the competitive fire in him to make coaching his next destination.

I personally think he is done. That is an (spinal) injury that you don't want to mess with. He has already placed himself firmly in the HOF as perhaps the best QB in history, and has made a killing during his career. I think this injury compels him to move on to the next chapter.
