Cryptic Rumor From Poster

Tressel. I could win a BIG (hint) championship coaching at Ohio St. against their mediocre league when he did.

I only want someone who's either won a Nat'l Championship in College or the Superbowl in the NFL and still has plenty of years left in his coaching career.

That's not asking much, right?

patterson has built that tcu program too much to leave at this point.
That may be true, but I think he knows what he could do if he invested the same effort in a larger program with much greater facilities/stadium capacity/tradition. TCU is merely the latest Non-BCS flavor of the month, in the scope of NCAA football history.

The big fish coach came in with the big fish recruit last month.

Rex Ryan was in town... hmmm...

I could live with the Sweater Vest, but I doubt that happens. Ryan could be a maybe. IIRC, his son was here as a possible recruit for the USCe or MTSU game -think I heard that on the EA show.

I'm a fan of Dooley, but I'm pretty much fed up with him not being able to take this team by the horns and lead it effectively. If he is able to completely turn it around next year -and that means not only win a ton of games, but show he IS the leader we need- then I can get back in step. Changes to the offense are a must. Oline coach, CDD. Channey. They need to go. With a $5 million dollar buy out in his contract Dooley is here for at least next year and maybe through 2013 as well. I wanted Dooley to be the guy, but isn't showing he has what it takkes. We'll see next season I guess.

If the Big East doesnt go under, TCU will win that conference and go to a BCS bowl every year.

...and how the heck is not firing the HC interesting? DD was thrown into the biggest disaster in the league and just lost his first game that he was supposed to win...it's only been 2 freaking years!! Give me a break...

Even though they may go against some of my previous thoughts, I think the only college guys I'd be interested in at this point are Bob Stoops or Chris Peterson.

No Tressel. No Patterson. No Smart. No Malzahn. No Sumlin. Etc.

I think so to. But so has Boise coach. Y leave there When u are the man

as much money as they're now giving these small school coaches, the money cannot be as much as a draw anymore, unless you're talking doubling they're salary. plus those two schools (i think) will be in easier bsc conferences next year. now it's a choice of making millions with an easier job or making a bit more with more pressure and chance of failure.
