It's been posted(fwiw) that Kendrick had some older players go to the coaches on his behalf and convinced them to start him.
Wiseman is only starting until jones gets healthy has also been posted.
Who knows how it all happened but as I have already posted jimmyH is cut off if I am making decisions
Brett never missed practice.
If I am CBJ this tweet from jimmyH gets his info cut off.
Absolutely nothing good can come from the public knowing this info. Jimmy has clearly had good sources lately but that would end immediately if I was jones.
I had thought the 247 article said he did but you along with others have said differently.
You sure he didn't miss practice?
Might be right if it wasn't Hyams coming out with it.This is the kind of lazy, sensationalizing media crap that CBJ was trying to curb when he announced his new media policy regarding injuries. The media get's 1/2 or 1/4 of a story and runs with it on twitter (in 140 characters or less) to just stirs things up. No good can come of the media constantly tweeting this kind of "news" which really isn't news just the normal day to day stuff that goes on in lots of college football programs.
The initial report said that he and Wiesman were unhappy and were both given the weekend off to contemplate their future.
Reporters still saw Kendrick at practice over the weekend though, so it seems like he never considered leaving so much as he made his displeasure known.
I can see Jones being impressed with something like that if the players came with a good case for saying "he earned it".It's been posted(fwiw) that Kendrick had some older players go to the coaches on his behalf and convinced them to start him.
:dunno: Suits me. I'm not much of a Weisman fan. He didn't play well last fall imo. I am a very big Jones fan. He's got a nasty streak that makes a difference and can infect others.Wiseman is only starting until jones gets healthy has also been posted.

Weisman and Kendrick skipped practice because they were upset they weren't starting? Didnt know that
A case where the outcome of job competition did not immediately spark a commitment to self-improvement for the player. Happens. Some handle stuff like this better than others.
Glad he's returning, we will need his contribution.
Bruin takes something that could be construed as negative and construes the hell out of it.
Kendrick never missed practice but per reporters, voiced his displeasure with lack of playing time to the coaches. Weisman didn't miss practice but was given practice off by the coaches to decide where he wanted his future to be. Big differences in all 3 situations.
