If I lived somewhere close, I would go to every game regardless of opponent. As I get older, I appreciate the opportunities to watch the Vols play in person. Regardless of the traffic, our record, or the crowds, it is always great to be back on campus surrounded by Big Orange fans.I love the Vols but I wouldn’t go to this game either.

When we had season tickets, we traveled in from TX for almost all the games and I wished we had seen all of them.
I agree with you, but today’s tickets were probably pretty cheap. I wasn’t trying make a point for everyone, but I was giving my opinion of my situation. We no longer travel in for many games primarily due to cost, but I would go to a lot more games if I lived significantly closer.I certainly don’t know your life, but it’s not like everyone has the time, resources, or money to just go to every single game.
Did anyone see all the empty seats at OSU/MST game. Top matchup of the day and many empty seats in one end of the stadium. Think it’s an issue with all of college football. If we shrunk our stadium we still have more people in stands than several SEC teams vs cupcakes today. Just can’t see them as much in smaller stadiums. College football games expensive to take families to even with discount tickets, when they can also watch on 60” TV.I know it’s South Alabama and it’s late but the crowd is horrible..you would think that since it’s been years since we have seen this excitement that more people would show up…

I'm pretty sure in person attendance is shrinking in every sport.
I mean rooms in Knoxville were like 200+... Even like comfort inns. Literally 200-500... This is absolutely highway robbery. And same thing for Vanderbilt. Greed.
