I like that one. Although i had no feeling in my left arm for a month afterwards.

yeah, it's solid. doesn't seem too bad till you get to about 45 and realize you have 30 to go.

I want to work on snatches pretty hard for the next few weeks. I'd like to get my body weight the next time we max.

I worked on overhead squats after my workout today. I've had a hard time getting the balance down. I'm learning more and more that olympic weightlifting is all about technique, specifically the shoulders

Shrug those shoulders up and try to pull the bar apart. Stability of the bar will help with stability of the squat.

WOD (maybe one of the hardest I've done so far)

Work up to a continuous 3 rep PC max I got 220lbs.

Then

Run 1 mile
50 db thrusters (i used 40lbers)
75 hang cleans @ 85% (I made it for 45 @ 177lbs. then dropped to 133 to finish)
Run 1 mile

There was a 35 minute cut off and I finished just under at 34:35. I wouldn't care if I never saw this WOD again...

Not familiar with poods.

Really? In a CrossFit gym? 1 pood, 1.5 pood, and 2 pood KBs are the typical weight description for KB weights. Weird. Hard to believe you guys don't use that terminology. Not criticizing, it's just surprising.

1 pood: 36 lbs
1.5 pood: 54 lbs
2 pood: 72 lbs

This was the CF Mainsite WOD from Sunday:
