Looked up crossfit on google here where I live. We have 2 gyms. One is $100 a month the other is $120. This is if you go 5 days a week. My problem is, I work 2:30 to 11pm. The latest class they have in the morning is 8:30am. That would be a rough schedule! I need a 11am class!

Do you have any stuff at your house? You can easily do them at home if you have a home gym. That is the great thing about the crossfit.

You can either follow three on one off or you can do five on and two days off. I do the three on one off.

Some times I go to the gym here at school, but I have an olympic weight bar, weights and dumbbells. Also if you need a heavy medicine ball take an old basketball and cut it open fill it full of sand and sew and duct tape it back together. It will weigh right around 20 poounds. For any one wanting to do their first Crossfit workout "Cindy" would be the girl for you.

5 Pull ups
10 push ups
15 Squats
As many rounds as you can in 20 mins.

I'm looking forward to it! I don't know if I want to tackle 5 days in a row right off the bat though! Might start off M,W,F, and work up from there!

Crossfit is absolutely brutal.

When I was in ROTC, A West Point, former Ranger Captain instructor introduced it to a group of us on off day workouts and I've never been in as much physical pain as I was day in and day out for the first week or two of the program.

And I (thought I was) in good physical shape before we started...

I've lost 7 lbs in the 3 weeks I've been doing cross fit...I considered myself to be in good shape before starting but this stuff kicks my a**

what i like about it is its a challenge. since my basketball days are over on a competitive level i have not found anything to get my competitive juices going. crossfit would be great bc not only wld i compete to have a better time, i cld also compete against others. i hate losing and i love a challenge

My gym only has one set of bumper plates, and they're crappy at that. Really, the only complaint about my gym. Also, no rings, only dip bars.
