I think everyone knows we need better qb play, but if you are true fan we don't need to act like jerks. Give the coach time to get his players, I believe lk knows more about who nees to play qb than any of us. We sure don;t need to treat the parents players like they are second class.

It has to be tough as a parent, brother or sister of a player that gets booed. I probably wouldn't like it either. They should know that fans are going to cuss the player if he screws up. Maybe the university should have a players family section or something.

It wouldn't surprise me if he got kicked out. I sat beside him and his wife at the rainy Marshall game a couple years ago and they were pretty bitter about Ainge being the starter and not JC. When JC got it the the game and handed it off 3 times in a row he started cussing like a sailor and then left his seat and never came back and his wife stayed for the rest of the game. Pretty funny:eek:lol:

I think JC's dad or a family member posted here when he was a freshmen or sophomore. Maybe he could clarify this story.

im glad his dad did this im sick of people hating on crompton hes are qb stevens couldnt beat him in competition so this is what we have. our offense put 27 points thats good and i know its just ohio but they put 23 points up on our beast defense so get behind crompton stop complaning hes all we have and just STFU

Question? Why does a lot of people have a problem with passionate fans booing? Do the people booing work and pay for their tickets? I would say most of them do . another thing I read several post saying "He's a Vol we need to support him" He's here because he wants to be here. Not because he was made to come here. So all you red blooded Vols fans that once made Neyland the most feared place to play,keep it up! without you it would be the biggest poodle walkers convention ever. It's football at a big time program with passionate fans ( Starting QB for said program deal with it) !

It's not the booing that's so much the problem as the singling out of a kid (he's over the age of 18 but you've still got your whole life ahead of you), it's the other things that are said about him.

How would you feel if you gave it your all and people were not only booing you, but saying they wished you were aborted at birth, among other things.

I personally hope JC's dad kicked the crap of the guy. These rednecks that spew all over these kids and their families' ought be drug out and whipped. If it were one of my sons out there and people made it that personal I'd likely get fed up with it pretty darn quick.

Listen there is no place for things like that to be said to no one, but booing or saying to take him out . Well that is football. I do not blame his dad for getting mad,but I was raised by a Army Ranger "Nightstalker" who is retired. And he loved us very much but he would be the first to tell you that your play sucked if it did so. Fans put there heart and soul into this and have the right to gripe. I agree it needs to be kept to boos or something on that line. GO VOLS!

I don't know you or care to ever know you but by calling me a douche bag for simply stating my opinion ,isn't that the same as people booing JC? Or if I did know you or was in your presence when you said that , I would probably act like JC's dad did and come over there and slap you around a little.:good!:
