Someone mentioned it on here, but the time was the 2nd series of the 2nd half of the Florida game. You put in Stephens right there and just so happens he leads a drive, all bets are off and everyone in that stadium is in "Hell Raising" mode.

You get that Mojo sauce flowing, anything happens.

GERALD, GERALD, GERALD!!! Give him a shot at QB - that would be really interesting and pose some problems for a defense... beats what we are doing now.

Wanna win....Put BJ in....I would go ahead and consider this season a wash, might as well get Coleman some games under his belt and build on next seasont. This team isnt going anywhere, why not build on the future?

If Crompton still believes he is the guy he is dreaming. The guy is truly delusional. I guess he don't want to accept failure. I don't expect him to say he sucks, but he shouldn't act like he hasn't struggled in the first 4 games and everything will be good from here on. What, did he somehow shake out of the rutt over night?????

Fulmer makes himself look even worse as a coach by making this a competition. Stephens should start, bottom line. The one and only pass Stephens completed for 42 yards was better than anything Crompton has done in 4 games.

well, one characteristic that Fulmer probably likes in Crompton is that he is incapable of dwelling on past mistakes.

He also doesn't appear to learn from them either.

Crompton reminds of a guy I used to work with who always screwed up, yet he was in a management position and never admitted he was the problem.

Crompton is a me first guy and always has been...I was excited to see him commit here but I am sorry, if you do not produce then there is no time in this sport to just sit back and wait...No one respects this kid on the team and that is enough of a problem...Start Stephens and get it over with.

Does anyone else in here think that Shuler helping this kid might have hurt or possibly put thought in his head that he is the best thing since sliced bread?

I have an eerie suspicion that Crompton will be starting on Saturday...

Starting....likely but Nick will see a fair amount of time too. Wouldnt be suprised to see Crompton start and the Nick come in maybe as early as the end of the 2nd quarter and play the rest of the way.

Rationale being...we've seen more than enough of Crompton during games, but not much of Nick. Practice is one thing thing, how kids play during the game is something completely different. I think part of the problem is Crompton is gangbusters during practice and the coaches go "Hey, I think he's finally got it" only to have him not be able to translate that to game day.

Crompton shouldn't start. He should be fighting it out for second string at this point.

Should be an interesting week.

Fulmer says it's an open competition.

Crompton says he's still the guy.
I see divisiveness and doom in the future. Never thought before the season started that it would play out anything close to this. Crompton needs to keep his piehole shut and sulk on the bench the rest of the season.
