Cracker Barrel has fallen

Young people get old, and if you aren't getting dragged to Cracker Barrel by your parents to eat subpar food like @OrangeTsar does to his kid, then you most likely are not seeking out Cracker Barrel as you get older.
I think the young people they are targeting is a miscalculated representation of the area.

These marketing heads don't know their audience.

By the way, among Gen Z, old stuff is trending. I heard on the radio that Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls is trendy heavy with them and it is a 30+ year song.

Actually, it is my kid dragging ME to Cracker Barrel. He ASKS to go there and now that he has a car, he will sometimes go there himself.

Yup, my son has purchased a boom box, LP player, and for some reason, a used VCR. Vintage is „in“ right now.

She will say she saved them from wasting $700 million
No doubt. We all know how female math works by when they brag about how much they saved when they come back from shopping.

Versus staying at home and not spending a dime! She will say she only cost the company $200MM instead of $700MM.

You have to keep those players. You're going to be seeing companies delete and edit movies because they don't like the content in them. There are a lot of VHS movies that are no longer in circulation and were never copied in DVD or Blu-ray

That is why whenever possible I purchase CDs, DVDs, and real books. Another thing is that in most cases you cannot bequeath your electronic media to your survivors. Whenever I pass, at least my kids will have the option to inherit my collections.

Absolutely, I tell my kids this all the time about keeping hard copies of stuff I don't have a lot, just movies that I really enjoy

Ugh, they still have a lot to learn

Same although I have started purchasing movies/TV shows on Fandango when they run weekly $5/$10 specials especially older movies & TV series they don't release on Blu-Ray.

Cracker Barrel reverted back. Good for them for making a smart move. You don't expect that much anymore.
