COVID Relief Package

I don’t hang on his every word. When it was first being thrown around I understood it to be an add on to the 600 already passed. When the headlines first started popping up that Dems were getting “blasted” for dropping it I realized they screwed up the messaging. Whether that was on purpose or not for the GA runoff is definitely worth criticism.

When it suits you. You certainly hung on every word Trump tweeted.

Sure is sister. Scroll down to the table showing the two decades of spending like a drunken sailor on shore leave and note whose watch it happened on the most. Your “doing better” is artificial and fueled by ridiculous deficit spending.

And note the last years we lived within our means. What party controlled Congress and wrote those budgets? 🤔

Federal Receipt and Outlay Summary

😂🤡

Sorry Vizzini, most economists will tell you the economy has been in better hands with Dems than Goopers.

And Trump absolutely blows away the GOP concern about deficit spending. If that's your concern, he should be number one on your sh*tlist. But I know he's not because his white grievance was just too delicious for you to pass up.

Lol, hussein's was pretty bad, growth was bad. You fools had to bring in a virus and shut down the country to hurt the economy

LOL Bet you can quote Trump.

Neither party can legitimately lay claim to the title of "fiscally conservative." The difference is, the GOP still lies and claims it is.

In comparing the two, one party is far more fiscally conservative than the other. The Dems want to spend $1.3T more than the GOP. Mull that over for awhile. That's nearly twice the bloated Defense budget. That's a hell of a lot of money even in today's dollars.

So we can at least say then that when inflation gets out of control, the Dems were full on board, right?

Hate to agree with you but you're correct this time.

Politically speaking the Republicans can't say that they're against any further C19 stimulus spending. Given the political realities of the day, $600B is a very fiscally responsible proposal.

That foreign aid crap that was pushed through on the 600 dollar deal was incompetent

LMFAO just blew right by the table in the link huh? Trump did indeed not live up to his promise but don’t even act like he came close to the great dividers spending ways.

And even in your link it acknowledged the POTUS isn’t the clear indicator here since you know Congress writes the budget? In fact it’s the only thing they have to do each year. And the last time we had budget surpluses was with a GOP Congress during Slick Willy/W crossover years.

And I have no interest in playing your stupid “our deficit spending fueled money wasting juiced economy results are better than yours” game. I don’t think we should send another penny out to people on “COVID relief” I think we should put their asses back to work.

🤡

Of course but if that's incompetent how do you describe the pork in the $1.9T bill?

Here's another thing. It was only ten Republicans pushing the compromise $600B bill. Thus 40 Republicans likely don't support it.

So tell me again which party is the more fiscally responsible?

This post being a perfect example of what I mean when I say that the GOP lies and claims it is fiscally conservative.

If a mansion is 1.3 million and you buy it for 600k how much did you save?

Dont forget you are 27.2 million already I debt.

Donald Trump built a national debt so big (even before the pandemic) that it'll weigh down the economy for years

Trump ranks third, behind Bush and Lincoln but Lincoln had the Civil War and Bush had two foreign wars after 9/11. So for various reasons yay GOP. You've got modern times debt increase all locked up.
First of all spending should be linked to the party controlling the House of Reps, not the White House...but of course the deficit went up bigtime in the past 4 yrs. C19 was a big part of that. The Dems were complicit. The big C19 stimulus bill passed 96-0 in the Senates. It was not a partyline vote
