1.) No more staff changes after Baggett. This means Hiestand stays; this is mind-boggling.

2.) Chaney to quarterbacks coach. Hinshaw to receivers coach.

3.) Jay Graham has already been contacted informally by Tennessee.

4.) Larry Porter won't be a candidate for the RB coach job.

All of this per 247 Sports.

I guess Dooley doesn't want any big changes in his make or break season. That's the only reasoning I can come up with to keep Heinsted.

Well if that's the case then I hope they blow it out of the water and have a great season.

Smh at not getting rid of Harry. Keeping him will most likely seal Dooley's fate imo. Hope I'm wrong, but using this season as a measuring stick, we may be even worse in the run game next year.

Nah, I think Lane taking all the first team snaps = better run game than having Poole share or take any snaps.

I think media are assuming no one takes other jobs. IMO, there will be changes because of that.. but that could be weeks away

Sure, I was just meaning changes that Dooley initiates. I think it's a bad mistake to keep some of the failures he's keeping.

I know Chaney is the OC but why wasn't he over the QB's all along? Isn't that his specialty??? Also did I read somewhere that we had a grad assistant in charge of RB's this past year?

seems to me that we want to keep the coaches that are good enough to be drawing interest from elsewhere (Wilcox, Thompson)

If we get a top running back we have to have Graham here as our running backs coach. That is not gonn happen until S.Carolina is done with their Bowl game.

Seems to me we want to keep the ones that should be shown the door. I simply don't understand it.
