Couple of questions for those watching from home

The biggest issue on the fumble TD run was that the OU guy that scored was clearly in the neutral zone before the snap! Do they allow that now? I was screaming prior to the play that he was lined up offside. How can the line judge not see that?
I’m still pissed off by this. Missing something that obvious and blatant is inexcusable

Another question for those at home...did JH decline a holding call before Oklahoma made the long field goal? Someone said that but I couldn't hear the PA system.
He did. I guess CJH had no confidence in his 3rd and long defense and figured the higher percentage option was to let their fun boy pants wearing kicker take a shot

The most frustrating part of the scoop and score was that everyone else besides Kits quit on the play. There are plenty of guys on our offense who could’ve run a DL down with a pulled hamstring and shoved the blockers around him enough to force him out.

I remember when Malik Foreman didn’t give up on a play such as that and punched the ball out for a touchback. You never give up on the play until it’s over. Little things like that, as we saw Saturday, can be the difference in winning and losing.

Everyone is busting Kits up about it but at least he tried. Ultimately, conceding the play cost us the game as we lost by a touchdown.

I know nothing about kicking, but you could tell it was a miss as soon as his foot was on the ball. Literally looked like it stayed in his foot longer than normal. I don’t know if something specific causes that

There apparently was a flag thrown during the scoop and score. It popped up on the bottom of the TV that there was a flag and I heard a clip from the OU radio broadcast and the play by play guy said there was a flag. I don’t remember the flag ever being explained. Was there an explanation?

Sideline warning against Oklahoma

1) The FG miss. Was the hold good or anything else off or was it just a miss?

2)The OU run back for a touchdown. It looked like he stepped out of bounds on the big screen in stadium. Should’ve been reviewed it seemed like or Heupel should’ve took a timeout as well.
Regardless of whether he stepped out, the DL was lined up in the neutral zone. Should have been called back.

There was a flag. Weirdest thing ever if you go back and watch it--the ref initially signaled offsides with his hands on his hips and then immediately signaled touchdown. Something hinky was up for sure as the right end was way offsides on that play to begin with.

Someone else reminded me that they did say the flag was for a sideline warning against OU. Maybe the flag was meant to be for the offsides, but they came up with the sideline warning as a way to explain the flag without calling the offsides.

2a) How Kitselman tied him up for so many yards and he didn't get a tackle out it from himself, or the myriad numbers of players that should have had time to catch up and assist while he had him tied up, is beyond me. Arguably a very frustrating Fumble 6. Not like the guy had after burners. I get the protection from would be tacklers once he got down field and came up lame. But, those first 10-15 yards ????
Agree. Kits had him held up for long enough to have a swarm of black jerseys. Not sure where the rest of the offense was.

This 1000%. Same - I actually rewound the play a couple of times and it was as blatant as any neutral zone infraction as you could ever see. Yet no real mention of it during or after the game.
