1) The FG miss. Was the hold good or anything else off or was it just a miss?

2)The OU run back for a touchdown. It looked like he stepped out of bounds on the big screen in stadium. Should’ve been reviewed it seemed like or Heupel should’ve took a timeout as well.

On the Star Thomas run, there was no way "indisputable" evidence was seen on the replay. That play shouldn't have been overturned regardless of how it was called on the field. I think he planted the inside most part of his left foot in bounds and what they "thought" they saw was the outside edge of his foot barely on the white line. The outside part of the foot was likely angled such that it wasn't touching the ground. All this to say, you can't overturn the call made on the field.

Yup. Thats first thing I thought of too. You can’t be 100% sure his foot touched any white line. The announcers were acting all shocked but the reason it took so long for review is because they were desperately trying to find a way to call him out of bounds. That could have changed everything.

It looked like just a miss. For the run back he barely stayed in bounds. All in all it was one of the most frustrating games to watch IMO since this staff has been here.
I think the problem with the kick came from bad timing. The snap was a little wide and took a split second to get it down. I kicking foot looked to me to get there just a little off time. Maybe kicker saw it and flinched. Either way the timing looked off to me.

Looked to me like he just hooked the attempt. Having never tried that sport, not sure what causes that from kickers. Maybe got my answer above.
But that is 2 critical misses from him this season. Understand missing some but got to make the ones you got to make.

1) Botched field goal attempt. Simple.

2) Replay showed he didn't step out. TD. Just like at Bama.

I'm 100% with you on this. It was as close as it gets but they should have stuck with the call on the field.

2a) How Kitselman tied him up for so many yards and he didn't get a tackle out it from himself, or the myriad numbers of players that should have had time to catch up and assist while he had him tied up, is beyond me. Arguably a very frustrating Fumble 6. Not like the guy had after burners. I get the protection from would be tacklers once he got down field and came up lame. But, those first 10-15 yards ????

Ethan Davis didnt make much of an effort to tackle originally and after the guy came up lame....

And Kit's attempt wasnt pretty for sure...

By the time the guy came up lame, he had a hoard of white jerseys around him, but a couple of penetrating missles may have still got him out of bounds, if they had tried. By that point, I don't remember anyone being close or trying. But, they had about 20-30 yards of a limping walk-in to make a better effort. Probably why that play was such a deciding factor in the game. Not so much that it happened, but what didn't happen after. Set a tone for the rest of the game while Mateer came back to life and ran like a looter, until we decided time was getting short and bowed back up.

The biggest issue on the fumble TD run was that the OU guy that scored was clearly in the neutral zone before the snap! Do they allow that now? I was screaming prior to the play that he was lined up offside. How can the line judge not see that?

Snap and hold on fg looked good. Out of bounds was very close. I couldn’t really tell, but should have been reviewed.

1. One closeup showed his foot contacting the ball off center far too much to the right. Hooked it bad.
2. unfortunately he stayed inbound, I wish Kitselman would have tackled him instead of trying to strip the ball.
