I've already got this and madden 07 reserved. so it's more like the next year is already planned out.

if you buy it, you will be happy. I love the online features. You can talk to your opponent through the headset. It's like they are sitting in your living room with you.

Couple of reasons: It ships on the 18th. With a high profile game like this, most of your specialty shops (EB, Gamestop, etc.) will have it that afternoon. It's likely Best Buy, etc. wont have it until the 19th or maybe the 20th. EA wants to advertise when folks can go just about anywhere and find it, not just specialty shops that overnight/same day deliver it to their stores.

alot of places got the game on the 4th or 5th but they just cant sell it til the 18th.

the place that i reserved mine is letting people go and get their reserved copies when the clock strikes midnight and the 17th becomes the 18th
that might be an all nighter

I was in Gamespot today in West Towne. He said they will be opening at midnight on Monday night to sell it.

I was just stating how it typically works. I didn't know for sure about this one. I just want it in my hands asap.

well i ment they recieved the shipments on the third and had tem up on display the 4th or 5th.

Most of the ads I have seen are of the 360 game. I wonder how it looks on ps2. I almost sold all my PS2 and PSP stuff to upgrade but still fell short $200. Anyone seen any demos for the PS2?
