Couldn't agree more with Coach Pearl

Must be hard to be a Vol for life and the coach at Auburn at the same time. That's kind of like how Johhny Damon was a Redsock for life...until he started playing for the Yankees.
except its nothing like that...at all, did j damon ask steinbrenner to come back but was told to go elsewhere? nope, these darn pesky facts mess with ur agenda dont they?

He can shove his VFL card up where the sins doesn't shine...we wouldn't be in a coaching search if he hadn't tried to cover up his f up.
poor ignorant sheep, pearl got the death penalty for jay-walking, he did more for tn basketball than anyone has ever done, if ur too stupid to understand that, then im sorry

All about Bruce all the time. Even in complimenting Cuonzo, he says "he maintained" what "I" started. Oh, give me a break. No mention of the devastation he left the program in.
uh, if it wasn't bruce that started it, then who did? and what 'devastation' are u referring to?

I told my bosses before my current job and they appreciated it. They supported the process it took for me to get where I wanted and knew i was giving them 100% until that day came. two years later they had people ready to fill my spot when I left. Most mature people understand everyone wants to better themselves. it shows a lack of character on Zo's part imo!.

i would sign as much as i could! :hi:

The irony of your two posts being back to back, on one side criticizing Martin's character and then immediately saying you'd want Pearl back is just beautiful.

Unworthy comparison...imo

I wish the name Dooley and Pearl were both banned from the Football and Basketball forums....They can be talked about where people have to search to find them...
dooley destroyed our beloved football program, pearl BUILT us a beloved program...show bruce some respect

Hilarious: Out in the garage, Michael McDonald is blaring on the radio - his version of "Ain't No Mountain High Enough..." .. Instead of Ashford & Simpson or Marvin Gaye, all I could see was Bruce Pearl, shirtless and painted Orange singing his heart out to Tennessee. -no doubt that vision was brought on by the quote at the beginning of this thread.

As much as I would've like to see him find redemption here at Tennessee, I do hope he is able to be of one mind and heart at his new home. - because in truth, we are all better off going "Cortez" on this and burning the ships. There is no going back.
why are we better nvr havn pearl back? that makes zero sense

You say "circumstances he has been through" like he is a victim. Bruce did in Bruce.
poor ignorant sheep, what bruce did in big-time college bball is the equivalent to jay-walking and bein given a death sentence, if u cant see that, then ur not lookin...sheep

He basically just said, "dammit I shoulda waited a little longer." Bruce signed only after we made the tourney and we all thought Martin was staying for a while to come. If we hadn't made the tourney, I'd bet money that Pearl wouldn't have signed with Auburn when he did.
dam this is so disappointing, don't any of u f9llow the topics u comment on? pearl reached out to hart @ 3 months ago about hart told him to go elsewhere, so, what difference wld it hv made for him to wait?

Good grief. No program would keep a coach under those conditions. NCAA would have nailed UT. Mizzou would have dropped Haith like a bad habit if NCAA was going to issue a show cause. Get over it.
CREDABILITY ALERT! no program huh? what about ucf and donnie jones? I guess u jst make ignorant comments to support ur agenda, hpw embarrassing this must be for u

Bruce is and always will be about Bruce. I hope he fails miserably at AU and we curb stomp him every time we play them.
except, while he was bein 'about bruce' he was given us 2 seeds, no.1 rankings, and elite 8s, sounds like pearl found a way to be about tn bball a lil, doesnt it...pesky facts get in ur way all the time dont they
