Good to hear, opposing fans are starting to bash UT over this on the recruiting sites. I am hoping no one in the media writes an unfair story/article about this.
The honest answer is yes. We don't look very nice in this situation.
I'm willing to bet they either wear blue and yellow or green and white.. Wha wha wha.. How terrible of them to get involved in such a sensitive situation.
Apparently espn already has a negative article on it.....every coach is gonna use this against us....i agree with what Dooley did but i dont know if we can really afford the negative light when it comes to recruiting
Nice? really? That's not how this game is played. The university paid for his housing, meals, and classes/books for his freshman year. He's a member of UTs football program. And like any other program, if you ask for a release, it will be to a smaller school. It's the nature of the beast and these kids KNOW THAT. his father has been sick and he was aware of it.. Yet still chose TN.
He's homesick, lost his coach, and wants to go home and is mad that he can't do it his way. Not saying his dads health isn't part of it, but it isn't the whole thing or that would be his number one priority.. To be close to him. Not what damned school he gets the privilege of transferring to.
Hope that made you feel better because all recruits are going to think is damn they're a bunch of dicks over there. They don't have all the info
