Could JT Shrout play in the last four games?

They need to play the last 4 games to win and nothing else. Unless an opportunity arises for mop up duty, which i doubt (barely got mop up duty vs ETSU) i wouldnt expect him to play.

I'd like to see him play a series or two but definitely think he will not play this season.

When he gets the knowledge and the size this guy has the arm to be awesome. I hope he advances during the off season very talented.

People that believe in trolls also likely believe in scary conspiracy theories. Those guys that cry troll usually have nothing positive to add to a conversation. Their simple minds believe that because something is new, if it doesn't match their views they dismiss it.

I know of only 1 that is A+ rated over 30+ years that has never had a lawsuit filed against and I'm sure there are others, but not many and certainly not any in this area.

I think that he' got talent but not sure he's got SEC talent and he definitely needs weight. Our QB roster was thin when we recruited him and we will have more QB depth than ever while he's enrolled here. He'll be in the running but CJP has his site's on a top 2020 QB recruit that might have the tools to start day 1. We'll see but odds are that either Shrout of Mauer will transfer once one gets declared the starter. If the Freshman wins out the QB position in 21 both guys may think about Transferring.

No it's not but like I said I'm not the type to air it out. Believe it if you want or not, doesn't really matter to me as I gain nothing from it either way. I'm sure I'm just some troll that has no idea how the recruiting process works.

I know you are special and a pretty important person, I was just curious to see these lawsuits you were talking about. I had no idea it was like that and was wanting to learn more about it.

Call me crazy but I believe Shrout getting elevated from scout team to 3rd string for this week tells me that he will get some run against Charlotte. To be perfectly honest I would love to see the distribution be: Guarantano 1 qtr. Chryst 1 qtr. Shrout 1 half. Heck I'd even settle for Guarantano 1 half Chryst 1 qtr. Shrout 1 qtr.

There is zero reason to give Chryst any run except for this being his last hoorah. There is all the more reason to get next year's back up QB some in game experience while not burning his redshirt. It may be against lowly Charlotte but him getting in some live game action to me is huge before he could be one snap away from playing next season.

He should get some pt. It will be valuable experience. He has a long, long way to go. He needs all the experience he can get before Maurer ends up jumping him.

I say why not, new red shirt rule allows him to play in 4 games and still get red shirted. But only if the lead allows it, snapping the ball and handing off to the running back isn’t going to show us anything.
Homecoming would be a good time to show us what he’s got though. Build a big lead and sub them in.

If that happens. If it doesn’t, the pt experience will be valuable for development as a starter.

If the Charlotte game is a blow out then I think you let Shrout play. You have to take advantage of the new redshirt rule.

Your clients must suck. Good coaches recruit starters who either start or compete to start and end up backing up. The NFL drafts and signs QB’s when they have an established starter but even they prefer a backup with starting potential. You specialize in providing programs with quarterbacks INTENTIONALLY average and non-threatening. If our Vols have been a recent client, that explains why we’ve been so ******!
