Cord cutter here, and I have a question..

You have me thinking. I have a couple of Firesticks. If I had this on a tv at home, I am assuming I could just take the Firsestick with me to our lake cabin or on vacation and access ultimatetv if sufficient internet speed at that location?
If you need your local channels or are leaving the country then you need a VPN

I'm still trying out IPTV services. Some are much better than others. Some seem to be great for the first few days then become almost unusuable.

I am on DSL though. We are supposed to get fiber later this fall.
 
I use Nordvpn because I got a good multi year deal. Seems to be o.k. Hard to tell, right?

Only thing that makes me think it is slowing things down is that my netflix on t.v. not firestick and not vpn protected runs like a top. Sometimes my firestick struggles to stream. I know lots of factors with the streaming service and such.
