Congrats to Josh Dobbs

It's not me, I'm just stating what Roethlisberger said. If you didn't see him call an audible then I guess you are probably right and Roethlisberger is wrong though.

Proof:

“Awesome,” said Roethlisberger when asked about the play. “Can’t say enough about it, it was a run play that he checked to a pass and he was awesome. ... I almost left Josh in after that play.”

Josh Dobbs throws the first, greatest and only pass of his NFL career against Ravens
Thanks for the link.

Dobbs is good but every time I watch Kamara on Sunday, I wonder how the heck our coach did not at least win an east title that year. He could have won the fricking heisman...

Kamara had zero chance at a Heisman. We get too caught up in NFL success that we cannot see reality. While Kamara is playing great, look at his team. He is playing with an all time great QB. A stud WR corps and a good OL. Also factor in Sean Payton is a very good coach.

D4H promised that Stephen Griffin would be an All American. It's called "Throw $h1t at the wall and see what sticks".

He did give up on Jones and Dobbs in the 1st half of the 16' UF game, so I guess I'll give him partial credit for that.

He also said Justin Martin had 1st round talent. 😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣😂😂

What do Kaepernick and Brad Kaaya have in common? Both will have fewer snaps in 2018 than Thanos...

Brad Kaaya is dealing with a back injury that required surgery. Just give him time. He will prove me right as well.

Remember at this time last year I had people attacking me for rating James Conner higher than Leonard Fournette in the 2017 draft. I don't hear many people trying to call me out on that anymore.

Kaaya will be a successful NFL QB. His time just isn't now. It'll be later.

He also predicted a whole lot of things that never happened.

The things I mostly get wrong are game results. If I could do that at a high level, I'd be in Vegas right now. But alas predicting the results of games isn't my expertise.

What I have a talent for is evaluating talent from college to the pros. And it ain't limited to football. Note that ahead of the 2017 NBA Draft I rated Jayson Tatum as the #1 prospect in the entire draft and a future NBA superstar. While I also predicted Markelle Fultz (the guy who ended up going #1 overall) to be a bust.

A little over one year in and Jayson Tatum is being called a star in the NBA while Markelle Fultz is looking like one of the biggest busts in NBA history.

I would say getting the Tatum/Fultz thing right in the NBA is even more amazing than me being right about Kamara and Conner being star RBs in the NFL.

The crazy thing is that Roethlesberger (I know I butchered this name) said that it was called a run play, but Dobbs checked out of it.

That's crazy. Come off the bench on your own five yard line, and audible to a pass play on 2nd and 20.

That's ballsy. Lol
The quote from Roethlisberger was "I think they had a run play called, but he checked down to a pass and got a huge gain."

Josh Dobbs earns praise from Tomlin, Steelers' teammates

Yes
By not utilizing Kamara helped by showing Butches incompetence, saved Kamara's legs for the NFL and by not winning the east, we dodged a bullet with Butch getting an extension.

Yes, but if he was smart enough to do all of that we would have wanted him to stay. Unfortunately, he isn’t. Just shows how close we were to being back on top with a better coach. Butch has set us back at least another 4 or 5 years. I think CJP has a bigger hill to climb than Butch (just when you think it can’t get any worse...). Depressing.

D4H where have you been? I am shocked you didn't have this thread already created on Sunday.

Wait, Roethlisberger decides who will be QB? Genuine question, I truly don’t know how this works. Was this just tongue in cheek? 1541648557246.gif

Would Dobbs be a better starter than some of the QB's in the league ? Buffalo ? San Francisco ? Giants ?

Dobbs actually is a "Champion of Life"!!!

The chance he will play is the only NFL I watch!

Dobbs would be better for the Steelers than Big Ben. Think Tua vs Hurts at Alabama. Sure Big Ben is playing well right now. But that's mainly because of how talented the Steelers are. Just like Alabama, the Steelers need to start Josh Dobbs to reach their full potential.

Just watch what happens when Dobbs takes over for Big Ben at some point this season. That one pass against Baltimore was just an appetizer. He will absolutely dominate and turn the Steelers into an unbeatable juggernaut.

Don't say I didn't warn ya'll.
