Congrats to Josh Dobbs

Congrats to Josh Dobbs for even being in this position.

Pittsburgh had a top notch veteran back up QB in Landry Jones that Big Ben and the team liked very much.

They invested in a top pick, 2nd round, to take Mason Rudolph.

The writing was on the wall for Dobbs and not only did he out perform Rudolph, he took Jones' job to be the backup. Huge. For him to be ready and chuck a ball downfield on target in a big spot was great too. It's great to see AstroDobbs succeed!

The crazy thing is that Roethlesberger (I know I butchered this name) said that it was called a run play, but Dobbs checked out of it.

That's crazy. Come off the bench on your own five yard line, and audible to a pass play on 2nd and 20.

That's ballsy. Lol

I never saw Dobbs audible at the line. Great throw, but I am not sure you are correct.

Agree.
I imagine Mike Tomlin screaming NO! NO! It's a run play!! Never mind, great pass, Josh!

Josh Dobbs attempted and made his 1st regular season pass on Sunday.
The Steelers were back up to the 5 yard line and it was 2nd and 20. Dobbs passed for 22 yrds.

Nice Avi!

Definitely ballsy, but a way to keep your job if you are successful.

Reactions: Dobbs 4 Heisman

Dobbs is good but every time I watch Kamara on Sunday, I wonder how the heck our coach did not at least win an east title that year. He could have won the fricking heisman...
By not utilizing Kamara helped by showing Butches incompetence, saved Kamara's legs for the NFL and by not winning the east, we dodged a bullet with Butch getting an extension.

It's not me, I'm just stating what Roethlisberger said. If you didn't see him call an audible then I guess you are probably right and Roethlisberger is wrong though.

Proof:

“Awesome,” said Roethlisberger when asked about the play. “Can’t say enough about it, it was a run play that he checked to a pass and he was awesome. ... I almost left Josh in after that play.”

Josh Dobbs throws the first, greatest and only pass of his NFL career against Ravens

D4H predicted Kamara to be a star....

D4H predicted James Conner to be a star....

D4H predicted Dobbs to be a star....

Looks like it’s time to give the man some credit!!!

What do Kaepernick and Brad Kaaya have in common? Both will have fewer snaps in 2018 than Thanos...

D4H promised that Stephen Griffin would be an All American. It's called "Throw $h1t at the wall and see what sticks".

He did give up on Jones and Dobbs in the 1st half of the 16' UF game, so I guess I'll give him partial credit for that.
