Though I agree with where Stoops is coming from, you play in front of 47k opponents at your biggest game not 93k or so. When half the stadium is for you, it's not the same.
The last point is more a component of yall having better teams than anyone else in the conference and playing your closest competitor, from a talent standpoint, at a neutral site.
Question. If the Vols played the tide annually in Birmingham, AL would Vol fans consider that a neutral site. Playing Texas in Dallas is not a traditional road game but it darn sure is not a neutral site either.
Not unlike Georgia vs Florida in Jacksonville, FL. I am certain the Bulldog fans would much prefer the game be played annually in Atlanta, GA.
