I seriously expect to see a better team after the beat down they took at home Saturday.. If not the year is done for them IMOI agree with the OP and I have likened it to a boxing coming into a fight dry and cold. Usually takes them three or four rounds to get warmed up while they lose points. They need to get fired up before they get on the field. I suspect we will see some improvement in the early stages of the Georgia game.
I agree. People didnt like the "desperation " calls by pruitt in the florida game, but that is what we need from the get go here. We know we are out matched, we know we cant break them down and over power them. If we could run on them i would try to slow the game down like they did the wvu game. I dont think georgias defense would allow that though. I really think we need to air it out all game long. I hate to say it, but if we throw deep alot, even if we only make a few of them they might can give us enough scores to stay in it. I know if i was coach id try throwing bombs all game long. How about a bootleg on first play for a change? First 5 plays should be a pass. Loosen GA up. We will not get any push on their front 7, otherwise.

They’ve thrown deep.Helton needs to take some chances. Way too conservative. We can’t win now playing that way.
I'm generally satisfied with the coaches at this point. But I agree a hundred percent with you here. We need to stretch the field and give the safety something to think about. Who knows if we can even pass protect that long thoughHelton needs to take some chances. Way too conservative. We can’t win now playing that way.
He needs to wrap up the carrier after the pop because he was one of probably 4 that slid right off of Scarlett on the TD run right after UT's return fumble to start 2nd half.To Air it out would require more than the 1 sec that JG gets if he is lucky and on a good day. We no pass protection going deep is really not an option unless you just want to throw it up for grabs. Team has so many problems at every level that a real game plan is impossible to implement. The attempt at a balanced running and short passing to use up the clock and keep the ball away from Ga who probably score in less than 4 minutes in a series. Some of the high flying offenses are averaging 1.5 min per score, unreal. I look at it as another game for the players to get more experience for what that is worth. Some of the worst blocking and tackling I have ever seen, these guys like to just lean on the pile, Taylor is one of the few that pops people.
