That's just...wow, that's fantastic! I love it!

"I love SEC football. These other teams...trash bruh. Knock knock. Who's there? TRASH BRUH!"
"If one of the player got bit by a snake I would suck the venom out!"

What a great thing.

I'm still very torn about this, I believe he genially is a Vols fan now.

But good lord he admitted that everyone was telling them not to do it, and they did it anyway.

As ours have said, I'm curious what the Heupel's opinion is on this.

As someone in my late 20's I forget the average age of our fanbase is closer to 50, but Theo Von is hilarious to younger people.

I was listening to Locked On Vols(?) and they were talking about this calling him “the biggest comedian in the world”.

I said “who?”

So I looked up his Netflix special. It was not really funny at all. I barely cracked a smile. It was like high school lunchroom level of wit.

If he is “the biggest comedian in the world” then comedy is dead.

Anyway… welcome to Volnation… I guess.
Theo is one of the funniest story tellers I think that there is. He’s just funny when he’s unscripted in a serious setting. He’s a guy that you would love to have a beer or ten with and listen to.

Well...glad this young man and his friends had a great time. I agree. The atmosphere was something difficult to explain. I must say....I have zero clue who he is and these "comedian types"....at least for me.... simply are not funny.

Not a fan. If players, you know, people that actually worked their asses off for that win thought CJH needed a Gatorade bath, then great. But not for some guy that has absolutely nothing to do with this win, doing that.
No way this isn’t a good thing. Publicity and makes TN look like a fun place to be. Good for recruiting. Stuff like this is bigger than you would think. Why do you think the team embraced him? It’s good for the young folks and the young ones are the ones playing football

He's stand up is not my liking but his podcast are hilarious. Literally one of the funniest podcasters. He's super funny when he's not trying to be funny

It is nothing for recruiting. He will help get as many kids committed here as you and me. Kids commit because of relationships with coaches, the belief the program can get them to the next level, and NIL.

His special isn't very good, but i saw him live in July and he was hilarious. He's even better on shows/podcasts. He's definitely one of a kind.

I’m not saying having a comedian is gonna reel in every five star recruit but it helps make Tennessee look like a fun place to be for recruits. I myself thought that was awesome when I seen it. Why did the actual players on the sideline enjoy them being there so much? I find it odd anyone would have a problem with it. The players and coach obviously love him or he wouldn’t be there in the first place. He didn’t sneak in or tresspass. More publicity and just good vibes all around for the program. I get older people might not find him funny or entertaining. Your right tho the kids commit to a coach they have a relationship with. They will love a coach that is “cool” and allows things like this. It’s different and I completely love both of them myself. The coach seen it coming don’t act like he didn’t enjoy every second of that

Never listened to him so I can’t comment on his comedy.

I don’t mind him being there. I don’t think he should be using the HC at UT as a prop.

Man I don’t see how you look at it as that. But it’s interesting to see somebody else’s perspective. I’m sure the team was hyped about it too because it’s just a funny thing all around. You say used as a prop like it’s negative but I bet the players are still laughing and talking about it.

And I’ve actually never seen his comedy just little videos on social media and interviews. Don’t know much about either one of them other than they are corny and fun

We can agree to disagree.

Am I the only one that’s finds his comedian persona really obnoxious? I want to like him, just can’t.
The guy with the long blonde hair is really the funny one to me. He’s not really that funny joke wise just the goofiness of him makes me laugh. Theo is just kind of awkward and you either really like him or find it annoying

Some of his stuff is hilarious, but as a father of an autistic daughter, I can’t get behind this dude. Half his material pokes fun of people like my daughter and her classmates/friends.
