“Just the culture and the history about it,” Hood said. “I mean, they got a lot of great players to come through here and just the culture. And also I like the genuineness of the coaches. Coach Heupel, coach ET, coach Banks, coach Martinez, all of them. I mean, they’re just all genuine. I just really like what they had to say about the university.”

Tennessee targeted Hood the moment he entered the portal. They see a player who can blossom at Tennessee with three years remaining...“They said they think I’m very versatile,” Hood said. “I mean, I’m also really athletic. They said they think I’m really athletic. I agree. Like, I think I’m probably one of the most athletic guys in the portal and in the college game right now. I also think, that taking their coach, I could be one of the best in the country.”

I still feel it is destroying college sports PERIOD. It has removed the term VFL from the list once they transfer. No athlete at UT should ever be called a Vol For Life, unless they at least end their career here.

What is puzzling is all the vitriol for Thomas, "He's just chasing money" "Eff him" "They'll go anywhere for 50 more dollars" etc

but not a word about Colton Hood hopping from Auburn to Colorado to UT, certainly not loyal to any team and likely getting a nice pay bump to come to Knoxville.

"We needed to get rid of that mal content" Thomas while we need a serial hopper like Colton Hood.

While we'll be "all in" on him as long as he's here, as soon as he leaves he'll be part of ruining of college football again. It's comical.

Oh so you just want to be miserable. Got it. All Colorado fans are PISSED. He's a corner. Corners don't get a lot of tackles. Btw here's him defending the #4 pick in the 2025 nfl draft.
