College Hoops Around The Country [TN opponents, RPI, others]

Leonard Hamilton retiring at season’s end. He would have been UT’s coach instead of Wade Houston had Lamar Alexander not forced Dickey to hire Wade. CLH was in the middle of KY’s biggest scandal.

We have to beat Alabama on March 1st. We don’t want to lose that game and be fighting for the last one seed on Selection Sunday. If it comes down to us or them, the committee will certainly look at the head-to-head result.

The SEC has a great shot at three #1 seeds, especially with Iowa State hitting the skids.

Kentucky has to go to Ole Miss tmrrrw night.
Believe the Skats are still without a couple of their starters.
Rebels need to take advantage of this and make Kentucky go 4 losses in 5 games!
I'm not sure you have thought this through ... we play them in Lexington ... right after the Ole Miss game.
You are hoping they lose ... and then go home and be madder than a hatter ... right before we play them?!?
I think I would prefer them to win and right the ship, before we go to Lexington. Lot more positives for us ... provided we get them to shoot a low percentage on Saturday. jmho

I have thought it through.
This is pretty much verbatim what a lot of KY fans were saying when we played Auburn/after we lost to Auburn . KY fans wanted us to win against Auburn, but KY still won when we played them.
If you're up on your game, it shouldn't matter.
Having said that, in my 9 remaining games left prediction in another thread, I already had the KY game penciled in as a loss. My reasoning was it's hard to win 3 in a row and on the road in general. We win that game in my view it's a bonus (unless we lose tmmrw against Missouri and then we have to have that win).
Also, in general I'm always going to hope for Kentucky to lose unless we necessarily need the team they are playing to lose for some reason.

If we don’t play D with the intensity we played against Florida and Auburn then we are likely to win at Rupp regardless of Kentucky’s results at Ole Miss

according to Lunardi, ISU goes back to 1 seed if they beat Kansas, knocking Vols off #1
