College Hoops Around The Country [TN opponents, RPI, others]

Man, Kentucky losing steam…

I sure hope we can break them at Rupp
Damn, we should. As easy as Ole Miss is, too.
Kentucky's D is complete garbage, they down both point guards ( Carr still looks injured, too), and we have a better D than Ole Miss.
I forgot the exact number we shot when we played them, but it was really low. If we just shoot ok against them we ought not lose next Tuesday.

Gonna be a rough end of the year. We look lost without a point guard and Carr is a shell of himself after the injury. We got a lot of rotational guys or role players who just aren’t able to carry.
I think you are really missing Butler. He may not be lighting it up in terms of ppg, but he seems to be physical and play D.

Arizona beat BYU. Awaka almost had a double-double in 18 mins of play ( 9 boards, 14 points).
Guy is doing pretty good but still wouldn't trade him for Felix.

Speaking of BYU, they now 15- 7 and 6-5 in conference. Their old head coach Mark Pope is now also 15-7 but 4-5 in conference.
Going to funny if BYU ends up with a better record than Kentucky 😆

according to Lunardi, ISU goes back to 1 seed if they beat Kansas, knocking Vols off #1
Kansas hung a 17 burger on Iowa State, and they've now lost 3 in a row. They in our rear view mirror as far as that #1 seed is concerned.
We just need to take care of our business this week.

Edit: Michigan State also lost s close one to UCLA. That's 2 in a row for them.
They were hanging around the top 10 because of their win steak, but now they back there in our rear view mirror, too.

Fresh off their stomping of KY, newly revived Arkansas beat Texas 78-70.
They are now 14-8 and 3-6 in SEC, ironically just one game behind KY.
Lunardi now has them in first 4 out.
I will laugh my a$$ off if they end up with a better record than KY this year.
Even funnier will be if they play KY in SEC tournament, and their Daddy Cal beats them again.
Funniest thing in the history of funny will be if KY keeps losing to the point they become a team on the bubble, and Arkansas is the one that ends up pushing them off the bubble.
🤣
