If Tim Banks really is head coach material (as we’ve all been told), there won’t be a better opportunity for that to be proven than through this round of coaching hires.

So remember this is where we were at right before the debacle that ended up with CJH. Now our NIL is top notch and every sport is benefitting. Do a case study of enrollment and spend after Clemson started winning. The numbers increase in a staggering way once winning happens.

I wouldn't be surprised if UF makes him a top 3 paid coach in College Football in that 11 million range. They have suffered and need Condron and others to start spending to get in the game as the recruiting will take care of itself in the state of florida...

Golesh will take a good B1G job in a heartbeat. He grew up with B1G football and will be billed as the guy who brings the Heupel system to that boring conference. Penn State makes too much sense.

Agreed. I don't think he is doing a bad job there and should get another year with this offense.

Any school wanting to hire him would have to wait until near new year.

The more we win out, the more we still have something to play for aka no reason for a coach to be focused on other things.

Ask Saban if Kiffin would do that. Maybe he has matured enough he wouldn't now, but he already did that once.

My prediction is that These 3 will be in new spots following this season. I think Bielemma stays put and I think Key does as well.

Kenny Dillingham is an Arizona State grad. He was born and raised in Tempe. It would take LSU or Florida, or a job of that caliber to even get him to consider leaving. I don’t think UF or LSU get far enough down the list where he’s an option.

It's brilliant for Sark's people to throw that out there though. Carousel is already crazy and likely will get crazier, exceeding that absurd carousel from 2021-22. Sark's coached in the NFL before and was good as an OC. He's at the school that has probably the most non-football, political BS to deal with and one could plausibly think "maybe he'd rather go to the NFL and make the same money and not have to deal with all of that."

Pretty sure they’ve had opportunities/chances over the last two seasons and lost a game that cost themselves it.

Edit: Also, pretty sure Missouri still has to lose one more game before they’re fully eliminated. If they come out of the next weeks 10-2 after upsetting the #3 team and beating a ranked Oklahoma, they’d pretty much be in with their resume. (It’s just honestly no one expects them to do both.)

Yeah and makes one wonder if LSU will make a run at him since he beat them with Vandy. Not sure how many dollars they will offer but it will have to be more than Vandy will.

Your AD didn't have the good sense to know why Mullen was not more successful than he was. They had their coach. The coach did not have the university. The whole Mullen firing was a shanked punt. Should have fixed what needed fixing and kept him.

60s to mid 60s isn’t an age major programs generally like to bring in. They’re all hoping to find someone not only successful but at an age range where - if they really struck gold hiring him - it can be a 10 to even 15+ year kind of thing.

Oddly, they could do worse than Drink down at LSU. He's the kind of quirck that could do quite well there considering he has done nothing but make on the field life for SEC opponents difficult in the SEC...at Mizzou. A total fish out of water SEC team/school, yet he somehow does it.

I think those two are tied to each other though. You won't see CJH divorce UT unless DW has already left for somewhere else.
